Leek United has hired Keith Edwards from Vodafone as head of IT and change.
At Vodafone he delivered technology solutions to commercial customers across four continents and eight countries.
Edwards (pictured) said: “Coming to Leek United has given me a much wider remit, involving the end-to-end delivery of IT.
“As a traditional building society, it has a very broad customer base; the challenge for us is to determine how best IT can serve the business, and use technology to support the business moving forward in the way customers want us to.”
Before Vodafone he worked as electronic monitoring IT manager at G4S, heading up the division that provided electronic ‘tagging’ of offenders for the Ministry of Justice.
He qualified and worked as a support analyst and systems engineer, before joining G4S in 2005.
