Matt Andrews will join Masthaven as managing director of mortgages from Bluestone Mortgages on 17 April.
Andrews, who has 10 years’ mortgage experience in leadership roles and 20 in broader financial services, will report into Masthaven’s managing director Jon Hall.
Hall said: “We’re delighted that Matt has chosen to join Masthaven at such an exciting point in our history.
“We have had a busy and successful first three months, raising retail deposits and continuing with our second charge, bridging and development finance lending.
“Matt’s appointment will provide another layer of expertise as we expand our mortgage range this year.”
Andrews was managing director of Bluestone Mortgages, while before that he spent five years as chief executive in private equity portfolio companies.
He was managing director of a Merrill Lynch mortgage division and a director at Kensington mortgages’ direct to consumer operation.
