To 75% loan-to-value contractors and the self-employed can take out a mortgage at 3.37%, while the professional option stands at 3.27% with overpayments of 15% per annum being allowed without penalty.
Anita Arch, head of mortgage sales, said: “At a time when there is growing speculation about a possible rate rise this year, these fixed rates give the self-employed, contractors and professionals the opportunity to lock into today’s low mortgage rates and benefit from the certainty they offer."
The mortgages incur an arrangement fee of £1,250 for self-employed and contractors and £1,550 for professionals.
Loans are between £30,000 and £1m with 3% early repayment charges.
