TenetSelect has launched a series of regulatory briefing seminars throughout May, aimed at directly authorised advisers to ensure they’re aware of what they’re expected to do following the latest regulatory changes.
This includes including MiFID II, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD).
The seminars will also cover the introduction of the Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SM&CR), which comes into force in December 2019, to ensure firms are prepared and able to plan for this.
Simon Broadley, managing director of TenetSelect, said: “These morning seminars, conducted over a couple of hours, provide a great opportunity for advisers to obtain a really useful update on the FCA’s hot topics and still have the majority of their day left to get on with business.
“All advisers are welcome and you don’t need to subscribe to TenetSelect services to attend.”
The two-hour morning sessions are free to attend and open to both existing and non-clients.
The seminars cover thee venues across the UK and attendees can also earn one hour 30 minutes structured CPD.
On Wednesday 8 May it’s in London at Pullman London St Pancras Hotel, on Thursday 9 May in Solihull at Crowne Plaza and Thursday 23 May in Leeds at Weetwood Hall.
