The roadshows are designed for advisers to discover new ways to develop, manage and grow their businesses, as well as providing ideas and guidance on how to help expand their product offering and client list.
TMA Mortgage Club, is rolling out a series of regional roadshows in June for its Directly Authorised advisers in conjunction with the UK’s leading insurance provider and mortgage lenders.
The roadshows are designed for advisers to discover new ways to develop, manage and grow their businesses, as well as providing ideas and guidance on how to help expand their product offering and client list.
A number of the UK’s leading mortgage lenders will be hosting various roundtables. In the Midlands, Manchester and Watford, NatWest will be discussing the consequences of fraud and what brokers and lenders can do to keep clients safe, whilst Charles Morley from Metro Bank, will be discussing the mortgage market in 2017 and the importance of new entrants to it in the Epsom roadshow.
There will also be presentations on protection sales hosted by Aviva and discussing the life changing and lifesaving benefits customers and families can access through competitively priced life assurance.
From TMA, David Copland will be discussing the future of robo-advice and whether it provides a threat or further opportunity for advisers, and the later life lending market. Delegates will also receive presentations from either Kay Leslie, Group Compliance Director, or Helen Martin, Head of Compliance Policy, on upcoming regulatory changes, such as GDPR and the Insurance Distribution Directive, and their implications on the industry.
David Copland, director of mortgage services, said: “These roadshows give our brokers the advice and guidance they need to grow their businesses. Due to continuous regulatory changes and complexity in the market, it’s more important than ever that our roadshows provide valuable guidance so our advisers can continue to develop and service their clients. Ultimately, they have been designed so our advisers leave feeling one step ahead of their competitors and are ready to take on the next challenge”
TMA will be running four shows across the country throughout June. The roadshows will take place at the following dates and venues:
Tuesday 20 June – Epsom Racecourse, Epsom, Surrey
Wednesday 21 June – Hilton Watford, Watford, Hertfordshire
Tuesday 27 June – Mere Spar and Resort, Knutsford, Cheshire
Thursday 29 June – National Motorcycle Museum / NCC, Solihull, West Midlands
