Abbey reveals new deals

Available immediately after their launch on 20 August 2007, the new products and revised product details are as follows:

New products

• 2 yr tracker no fee 90% LTV at 5.99% available direct
• 2 yr tracker ‘loyal mover’ with £399 fee 90% LTV at 5.84% available direct

Rate reductions

• 2 year fix £999 fee 90% LTV now 5.84% available through a broker
• 2 year fix remortgage £999 fee 90% LTV now 6.04% available through a broker
• 2 year fix £1499 fee 90% LTV now 5.74% available through a broker

Fee reductions

• 2 year tracker 90% LTV at 5.49% available through a broker, fee now £799
• 2 year fix 90% LTV at 5.84% available direct, fee now £499

Nici Audhlam-Gardiner, head of mortgages at Abbey, said: "We are committed to remaining competitive and these new deals reflect that, given recent downward movements in swap rates. Two new tracker products have also been added to the range in line with growing consumer appetite for these types of product.”
