Brad has worked for Alliance & Leicester and Santander for 15 years, most recently as performance director for the retail mortgage division. He has a wealth of experience in sales and performance management, having previously also held roles in the bancassurance and branch network channels.
Brad’s appointment as head of sales responsible for telephony & service follows the appointment in July of Jeremy Duncombe as head of sales responsible for the field sales force across the UK.
Alan Mathewson, managing director of Abbey for Intermediaries, said: “I am delighted that Brad will be joining us as head of sales and taking on responsibility for our telephone sales operations in Glasgow & Manchester. Brad will also be leading the wider service agenda and building on the strong progress we have made in improving our service levels over the past few months.”
Brad Fordham said: “I look forward to joining Abbey for Intermediaries and building upon our strength and consistency to become not only the biggest brand supporting intermediaries but also the intermediary lender of choice. Our number one focus continues to be improving service to make it as easy as possible for intermediaries to place their business with us.”
Brad will start his new role on 1 November and replaces Sue Carvell.
