While Amber's associate director of sales and marketing, Mike Perry, said that the firm had received "extraordinary" levels of business during the past three months, he said that some packagers had not been as supportive as hoped when business levels were agreed.
Perry said: “We receive dedicated support from a large number of our panel members, and we want to concentrate our resources on reciprocating this commitment and support to develop our relationships with these companies.
"We would like to invest in providing marketing support and competitive products for the companies that consistently support us, rather than on those that do not submit business. This streamlining exercise will enable us to achieve this.”
