The research will help shape AMI's strategic plans on protection over the next year
The Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) is calling on all mortgage advisers to complete a short survey for the fourth consecutive year of Protection Viewpoint.
The survey, AMI said, would help the trade body shape its strategic plans on protection over the next 12 months. The findings would also help identify the opportunities, barriers, and challenges from an intermediary perspective.
AMI, alongside sponsors L&G and Royal London, will share key findings from the adviser and consumer research during a launch event on November 8.
The survey questions cover approaches to protection, the tools used by advisers, the impact of Consumer Duty, and what advisers think should be done within the industry to help increase consumer trust.
The trade body said a mortgage adviser did not have to be an AMI member to participate in the survey and that responses were anonymous. The survey will close on September 6.
“I’m delighted that AMI is running its adviser survey for the fourth year and can’t wait to see what this year’s results tell us,” remarked Stacy Penn (pictured), senior policy adviser at the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries.
“Adviser views form an important part of our research, particularly as we can compare and contrast consumer and adviser views to see where any gaps lie. We can only do this with the support of the sector and the more survey responses we receive, the better informed our research will be.
“AMI recognises it is a busy time for many mortgage advisers and is grateful for your time and support.”
