Last week the network revealed that First Complete business development director Richard Coulson is to take over Pink’s network sales from Mark Graves who resigned last month.
A statement from LSL Property Services financial services director Jon Round said that regional sales directors would remain unchanged following Coulson’s appointment.
But the AR said he was “disappointed” this change had been communicated by an email circular.
He said: “As a key account of Pink’s I would have expected them to at least have picked up the phone."
But Round said: “Communication was, of course, made to every AR firm in the same way, to ensure that everyone in the network received the information at the same time.
“We said that the regional director teams ‘will remain unchanged’. What this meant was that the teams will remain distinct for each brand, this does not mean that there will not be some individual staff turnover which is normal in a period of growth and market expansion.
“The intention was to make it clear that the regional director teams will continue to have their own distinct identities, looking after their own specific groups of ARs to give them the time and attention that they deserve.
“We will continue to expand the level of local support for ARs in each of our businesses, so that we maintain a high degree of personal interaction.
“Any changes to regional directors’ responsibilities are communicated to AR firms as and when they take effect. We expect to announce further appointments in due course.
“If any AR would like to talk about this in more detail, either Richard or I are happy to hear from them at any time.”
Coulson is due to meet with all London key account ARs individually this week in a bid to allay any further concerns.
