Tony Swift, 46, who joined the leading high volume conveyancy firm in 1987, will lead the business development team following an internal restructure as part of the firm’s expansion plans.
His new role will involve developing new business and directing the firm’s marketing and communications strategies. He will continue to manage Barnetts’ compliance procedures.
The business development department is tasked with handling customer relationships, developing sales from leads and new opportunities, as well as growing the firm’s profile through marketing.
Tony, who lives in Ainsdale, Southport, said: “I am delighted to take on this exciting new role at Barnetts, which is part of the firm’s planned expansion programme.
“One of the main challenges will be to embrace the new opportunities offered by future developments, such as Pisces, HIPS and e-conveyancing, in a very competitive market, whilst also maintaining the high service levels that have earned us our reputation.”
This is the second internal appointment made this year, with Charlotte Pugh, previously a team leader in the right-to-buy department, who joins the team as business development manager.
Tony will continue to be based at the firm’s national conveyancing headquarters in Southport.
