Blacks Connect – part of Blacks Solicitors – has appointed a commercial property partner in Ian Errington.
Errington specialises in new builds, has over 25 years’ experience in the industry and spent 15 years at Gordons LLP where he was a partner.
David Gilman, head of Blacks Connect (pictured), said: “Ian brings with him a wealth of experience and I am delighted to welcome him to the team.
“His client focused approach and extensive knowledge will help provide great support to our investor and developer clients in particular.”
Gilman added that Errington’s experience will help the firm to continue to offer a comprehensive service to brokers.
Errington said: “Blacks has a reputation for doing things differently and putting their clients’ needs first so when the opportunity to join the firm came along, it was just too good a chance to pass up.
“Blacks is really heading in the right direction and I’m excited to get started.
“I’ve been lucky enough to work closely with big brands such as Morrisons in the past and have recently moved on to more residential and commercial properties, so I’m very eager to put this experience into practice at Blacks.”
Errington’s appointment comes following the tragic and unexpected death of partner Nick Wilford in 2015. Blacks has since set up a Justgiving page to raise money for the British Heart Foundation in his memory. To donate visit https://www.justgiving.com/Blacks-Solicitors-LLP1
