New team additions provide excellent foundation to continue the growth of the group, says CEO
In a strategic move gearing up for 2024, the Brightstar Group has announced key changes in its team through promotions and new recruitments.
Chantelle May, who has been an integral part of the organisation since 2018, has ascended to the position of group head of sales support. In the role, she assumes responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day operations of both the Brightstar Financial and Sirius sales support teams. May’s latest promotion marks her third career progression within the business.
Andy Cappaert has also advanced within the ranks, securing the position of group head of national accounts. A national account manager when he first joined the Brightstar Group in 2021, Cappaert will be leading the company’s business development strategy in his new role.
Meanwhile, Brightstar has also bolstered its workforce by recruiting three team administrators. Rianna Byom, Connor Lam, and Paul Killington join the team to enhance overall capacity.
Killington was a previous work experience student on the company’s Young Learners Programme, becoming the seventh team member to transition from this programme to a full-time role.
“We are very excited about 2024, and these changes will give Brightstar an excellent foundation to continue the growth of the group across Brightstar Financial, Sirius, and our recently launched insurance brokerage,” stated Rob Jupp (pictured), group chief executive at The Brightstar Group.
“The promotion of Chantelle and Andy is testament to the hard work and dedication they have demonstrated in their previous roles and supports our policy at Brightstar to give good people the tools and opportunities they need in order to succeed in their careers. I’d also like to welcome Paul, Rianna and Byom, whose willing attitude will provide a great asset to our team of administrators, which provides the engine room for any business.”
