The lending criteria is now based on rental income rather than how much the borrower earns. Borrowers can get loans for up to 10 properties, with a combined value of up to £1 million.
Dominic Toller, Head of Marketing, Bristol & West Mortgages says "The buy-to- let market is still growing rapidly, but customers told us that they needed more than our previous limit of five properties up to a value of £500,000.
"Our past successes in this market have meant that we can now extend our criteria to offer ten properties up to £1million, while still maintaining the competitive rates and straightforward criteria we have become known for."
