The £50,000 awards event was held at Stapleford Park and was extended to guests from the industry including Freedom’s Colin Snowdon, Mortgages PLC’s Peter Beaumont and John Hirst from Norwich Union.
Over 100 consultants could have received the honour of being awarded a headline award of “Franchisee of the Year” as well as a fantastic £500 Red Letter day event. The very deserving winner of the award “Franchisee of the Year – North” was Laraine Scarf who owns mortgageforce franchises in both Cheshire and Derbyshire with a proud Mike Duffy from Westbury in Wiltshire taking the award for “Franchisee of the Year – South”
All High Achievers and guests were offered the potential of a £10,000 cash prize in an after dinner ‘roll a dice’ contest and one consultant, David Brownhill from Stockport, walked away with a fabulous Fortnum and Mason hamper having accumulated a staggering £280,000 in the fun casino.
Commenting on the inaugural High Achievers Dinner and the success of the particular mortgage consultants honoured, Managing Director, Robert Clifford said “For mortgageforce to have gained national coverage and industry recognition in little over 3 years is staggering in anyone’s assessment and it’s simply a reflection of the fantastic businessmen and women who own our franchises. Laraine and Mike should feel very proud indeed, being named as the crème de la crème in their peer group”.
Frances Edmonds added “It strikes me that financial services has had more than its fair share of knocks, yet these businesses owners have built successful enterprises which are best of breed. A fantastic achievement.”
