Cambridge Building Society has appointed Dr Andrew Rice as non-executive director.
Rice joined the building society in February 2020, and also works in the Department for Computer Science and Technology at the University of Cambridge.
Additionally, Rice is a visiting scientist at Google helping him to keep in touch with professional software development and security practices in the industry.
Rice said: “It’s great to have the opportunity to bring my knowledge and experience to a society that is taking strides to remain modern and forward looking.
“I’m looking forward to learning about how the society operates and supporting The Cambridge to achieve its goals through my role on the board.”
