Prior to joining Personal Touch Hurl-Hodges worked for The Co-operative Bank, United National Bank, Credit Suisse and Abbey National Treasury Services where he spent 10 years as group risk manager.
At BNP Paribas Hurl-Hodges will report to CEO of consumer finance Stephen Hunt in London and personal finance head of compliance in Paris Valérie de Laveaucoupet–Deniau.
Jane Cross, chief executive of Personal Touch Financial Services, said: “We’re disappointed to see Tony leave because was an important member of the team, but we recognise that he wanted to go back to the banking sector where he has spent the majority of his career. He’s leaving with a lot of friends here and we wish him well.
“The positive for our staff and members is that Greg comes with a wealth of network experience and is ideally placed to continue the cultural changes that Tony has delivered in the past 18 months. He’s been a significant part of a shift towards a quality focused network where the customer outcome is placed above everything else.”
