He will be responsible for promoting and enhancing CSS's new build offerings across the UK
Countrywide Surveying Services (CSS), one of the leading suppliers of valuation panel management services, has announced the appointment of Morné Jacobs (pictured) as its new build director.
Jacobs brings 24 years of experience from Lloyds Banking Group, with the last eight and a half years focused on the new build sector.
In his new role, Jacobs will be responsible for promoting and enhancing CSS’s new build offerings across the UK. His efforts will also support net zero goals and advocate for modern and affordable housing construction methods.
Additionally, he will work to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including mortgage lenders, housebuilders, and other industry players, to deliver a comprehensive new build proposition. Jacobs will report to Jayne Coppinger, director of client relationships at CSS.
“Morné’s expertise spans project and strategic management within the new build and mortgage sectors,” said Matthew Cumber, managing director at Countrywide Surveying Services. “He is widely recognised for his strong leadership abilities, business development acumen, and coaching skills.
“These qualities have contributed to his success in fostering strong relationships and driving growth over his many years in the industry. We look forward to the impact his leadership will bring to our continued success in the new build sector.”
Commenting on his appointment, Jacobs said it was an incredibly exciting opportunity to become an ambassador for the group and its market-leading new build valuations proposition.
“It represents an important step in my career,” he added. “I can’t wait to start building on the great market expertise and brand recognition CSS has established.”
CSS also recently appointed Matthew Ison and Andrew Peters as new associate directors of technical services.
