Paul has held senior positions in the mortgage industry and he will work with the board and senior management to develop Crown’s presence in the residential mortgage market.
Previously, Paul established Chase de Vere in 1982, serving as managing director for 13 years and, subsequently, non-executive chairman. He was also a founding member and chairman of Mortgages plc, established Central Mortgage Administration, was executive chairman of The Mortgage Operation and executive chairman of Creditweb.
Ron Roark, chairman of Crown, commented: “Crown is already a major outsourcing provider and we are looking to build on the strength of our proposition and to grow the residential side of the business. Paul’s extensive experience in this market will make him a valuable addition to the board.”
