The academy has doubled its assessment qualification windows this year
Countrywide Surveying Services (CSS), through its training academy, has delivered a further 11 fully trained surveyors into the industry, taking its total to over 400 since the academy’s launch.
The training academy, led by head of trainee development Sam Holton and head of property development Sarah Chalmers-Stevens, has doubled the number of AssocRICS assessment qualification windows in 2022 to get more residential surveyors certified and out into the industry.
CSS said graduates have emerged from a wide array of professional and personal backgrounds over the years to bring a diverse range of skills, experience, and expertise to the business.
In partnership with RICS, these AssocRICS assessment qualification windows have previously taken place on a bi-annual basis. This year, the assessment windows occur on a quarterly basis.
“There is an ongoing skills shortage throughout the industry, and this highlights how integral the CSS training academy is for our future and also that of the wider surveying sector,” Matthew Cumber (pictured), managing director of Countrywide Surveying Services, said.
“As a business, we never tire of seeing a willing graduate enter our training academy and emerging from it as a highly accomplished surveyor. And this is why we remain so committed to investing heavily in our training and development processes going forward.”
