NI-based bank eyes expansion of lending operations in Britain
Danske Bank UK has appointed e.surv to provide valuation services as the bank expands its mortgage lending operations to the British market.
Danske Bank, one of the leading banks in Northern Ireland, is making its carbon neutral mortgage available for residential homes in the South East, South West and East of England initially through brokers registered with the Mortgage Advice Bureau.

“We’re already a market leader in Northern Ireland and have a significant presence in the mortgage intermediary market there, so it’s a natural step for us to bring that expertise and capability to benefit consumers in England,” Patrick Mullan, head of GB Mortgages at Danske Bank UK, said.
“e.surv’s extensive network and local expertise will help us assess applications and deliver a good experience for our customers, and we look forward to working with them,” he added.
e.surv directly employs over 600 residential surveyors across the UK. It was appointed as panel manager for more than 20 mortgage lenders and other entities with interests in residential property.
Richard Sexton, business development director at e.surv, welcomed Danske Bank’s selection of the mortgage valuation provider to support their lending activity.
“We are extremely pleased to have been selected by Danske Bank as they move into this new phase of their strategy,” he said. “With national coverage, we are a good fit for Danske’s plans and we look forward to assisting in the development of their valuation policies as part of our new relationship.”
