The Championship will be named ‘The Enterprise Group Club F3 Championship’ and several of the 12 races during the season will be broadcast on Sky TV from May onwards.
Michael Clapper, CEO of Enterprise Group says; “We are absolutely delighted to be so heavily involved in this exciting sport. We believe that F3 has a fantastic future in the UK, and we are privileged to have early involvement in its development.
“This will help increase awareness of Enterprise, and allow us to invite our key business partners to racing events throughout the season, with full access to the pits, drivers and cars. Some of the F3 venues in 2006 include Silverstone, Brands Hatch and Donnington Park, classic tracks which provide truly memorable hospitality occasions.”
John Gray, Chairman of the Club F3 Championship, commented: “Having worked with Enterprise on this sponsorship, we know it is an extremely fast moving and dynamic company - the perfect partner for our new Series. We are very pleased to have their support and look forward to welcoming Enterprise and its business partners to what promises to be a very exciting season.”
Clapper added: “We felt it was time to do something a little bit different from the abundance of golfing and soccer events on offer. There is no more exciting spectator sport than motor racing, and as F3’s primary sponsor we can offer our business partners a unique hospitality experience.”
