Firms beef up teams with new hires

Lenders YBS Commercial Mortgages, LiveMore, and Funding 365, along with property exchange platform PEXA Group, have made new appointments as they continue to strengthen teams and expand operations across key markets.

YBS Commercial Mortgages has named Rosie Morrow (pictured left) as associate director for its North team. She joins from Accord Mortgages, the intermediary-only lending arm of Yorkshire Building Society.

With eight years of underwriting experience, Morrow brings in-depth knowledge of buy-to-let and residential lending. In her new role, she will guide clients through the commercial mortgage process up to the point of offer, providing support to both brokers and customers.

Meanwhile, digital property exchange platform PEXA Group has appointed Miguel Sard (pictured centre) as UK non-executive director to support its growth strategy in the region.

Sard, currently chief banking officer at Shawbrook Bank, has more than two decades of leadership experience across the banking and property sectors. He previously held senior roles at NatWest and Santander, and will provide strategic oversight as PEXA continues to invest in its UK operations.

At later life lending specialist LiveMore, three new appointments have been announced. Steven Bailey joins as key account manager for London and the South East, bringing over 20 years in financial services, including 15 years in the mortgage intermediary sector. Naj Aslam has been named telephone business development team leader after nine years at Precise Mortgages / OSB Group. Baljeet Kaur joins as telephone business development manager from The Mortgage Lender, bringing experience in corporate sales and business development.

Funding 365 has also expanded its relationship management team with the addition of Charlie Jones (pictured right), a former PGA professional. Jones, who previously coached golfers and managed events at The Drift Golf Club in Surrey, will focus on broker engagement, including onboarding new brokerages and keeping partners informed about products.
