IFAs have already benefited from a subsidy on FSCS fees.
As was the case for the FSCS levy subsidy, the fees subsidy scheme will be administered by PASS Fees Ltd, who will be mailing application forms to 5,000 eligible IFAs throughout this week. (These are authorised firms who pay FSA fees direct - not Appointed Representative firms.) To claim the subsidy, firms will need to complete the form and return it to PASS with a copy of the FSA fees invoice.
The letter and form which PASS are mailing refer to both the FSCS levy and FSA regulatory fees, as a number of IFA firms have still not applied for the FSCS levy subsidy.
