Hampshire Trust Bank appoints new BDM for South Coast

Specialist lender Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB) has appointed Chloe House (pictured left) as business development manager (BDM) for its newly established South Coast region, further strengthening its broker support network.

House joins HTB from SPF Private Clients, where she gained extensive experience as a finance specialist, advising on mortgages and structuring complex deals. The bank believes her market knowledge and problem-solving skills align with its focus on supporting brokers with challenging cases.

“I’m thrilled to join HTB and start supporting brokers across the South Coast,” House said. “My background as a mortgage adviser has given me valuable insight into the importance of the BDM role and how strong relationships with brokers can help get deals over the line. HTB’s reputation for finding solutions, even when there are complex elements to a case, really attracted me to the role.”

House’s appointment is the latest in a series of strategic hires by HTB to bolster its specialist mortgages team. Recent additions include four new lending managers, Ceri Blackwell as head of new business, and Greg Barnard in the newly created field-based underwriter role.

In a similar move, short-term property finance provider Signature Property Finance has named Sean Carbery (pictured right) as relationship manager for the Midlands.

Carbery, formerly of Lloyds Banking Group, brings over a decade of financial services experience to his new role.

“This is an exciting move for me at this stage in my career,” Carbery said. “Signature’s growth and its strong product offering make it clear they meet clients’ needs in the current market. I’m looking forward to showcasing what Signature can offer to my contacts across the Midlands.”
