Hamptons appoint chief risk officer

Luck has been brought on board as part of the company’s plan to grow across both the UK and international property markets and will oversee the company’s policies and procedures for the identification, assessment and reporting of risks, and the effectiveness of the system of internal controls.

Luck Goh worked with KPMG in both Singapore and London for over seventeen years before joining Hamptons International. He was a principal advisor in KPMG’s financial sector advisory, where his main focus was management assurance services and financial management advisory. Luck’s experience includes advising FTSE 100 companies on effective corporate governance, Sarbanes-Oxley and risk management framework and practices.

Mark Anderson, managing director – UK Residential, Hamptons International, comments: “The appointment of Luck Goh will significantly improve the risk management of our business, a key function given our aggressive expansion plans. Luck’s extensive banking experience will be invaluable in structuring overseas banking and treasury arrangements that will become increasingly complex as we enter new territories and markets.”
