Completions totalled 13,000 compared with 11,300 the previous year, and in the last three months 40,500 dwellings were started, up 3 per cent on the same three months last year.
Total completions in the last three months reached 44,000 (including private enterprise completions of 38,700), which was up 10 per cent on the previous three months. Total completions were up 5 per cent and private enterprise completions were up 9 per cent compared with the previous year.
