Ian previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Exact.
The Exact board voted unanimously to appoint Ian to the role. Ian’s background as CFO gives him the ideal skills to steer Exact through this challenging financial environment. In his former role, Ian was responsible for all corporate finance, planning, accounting and credit risk functions as well as being the main executive responsible for relationships with funders and asset investors.
Alan Cleary, Exact managing director, said, “The board is delighted Ian has accepted this responsibility. Ian’s experience of mortgage finance and risk make him the ideal candidate for the job - his accounting background will stand us in good stead during these uncertain times.”
