The lifetime mortgage exams, being offered by Just Retirement and ifs, have gone two weeks after the booking lines opened.
The ifs Certificate in Lifetime Mortgages (CeLM) exam is being offered at a subsidized price of £75 (normal price £120) in an offer from Just Retirement to tempt advisers to gain a professional qualification in equity release.
Mark Roberts, head of faculty financial regulation, at the ifs, said: "This is an excellent opportunity for those who are considering advising on equity release products to gain an appropriate qualification in this area. It is great to see Just Retirement working with advisers to raise professional standards in the industry on this scale."
The £75 training package consists of the CeLM exam, CeLM study materials, half-day exam preparation and lunch at one of five venues across the country. The exams all take place on Thursday 20 July 2006. The offer is limited to 1,000 places.
