The service went live at the beginning of the month and now extends to all of the regulatory qualifications suite including:
- The Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP ®)
- The Certificate for Financial Advisers (CeFA®)
- The Certificate in Regulated General Insurance (CeRGI®)
Mark Roberts, head of faculty financial regulation at ifs, said: "In an age where you can arrange your mortgage, book your holiday or find your next relationship online, it seems archaic to expect busy professionals to go through a call centre, just to book their exams,."
"Now advisers can book their exam within minutes through the website and get on with their business."
Existing students need to go through the ifs website and follow links to Pearson Vue's test booking site, where they will be offered a range of test centres close to their registered address. They then select a venue and the site automatically displays the next available date and time slots, including weekends.
Candidates simply select the venue and time that suits them and their examination is booked and confirmed simultaneously.
