Pinnacle Insurance, has launched four sports accident products to remedy the ‘financial consequences of a mishap.’
As anxiety levels rise over English captain, David Beckham’s injury, Pinnacle is offering amateur sportsmen and women the chance to protect themselves against serious injury.
The four policies are junior, standard, plus and extra with premiums starting at £4.95 per month. Coverage provides cash benefits for urgent treatment and up to £500 a month to cover loss of earnings.
Tony Claytor, product director at Pinnacle explained: “Benefits for Sport Accident policyholders include tax free cash towards physiotherapy, broken bones, dental costs and hospitalisation – with no requirement to attend a medical on application.
He continued: “As for individuals whose speed of recovery is critical, Sports Accident ‘Extra’ covers dislocations and torn ligaments, pays up to £2,000 for broken or fractured bones and provides up to £2,500 per incident for dental work.”
