Neil joins from Savills, and will be responsible for independent valuation work and setting up a valuation panel.
Andy Murray, general manager at InterBay, commented: “I am delighted that Neil has decided to join InterBay, and I look forward to working with him. Neil will be an invaluable asset to our unique team of underwriters, who work together taking a common sense approach to each individual case that comes in, ensuring that our offers continue to be confirmed within our 48 hour deadline.”
Neil Richardson said: “I am really looking forward to taking on a new challenge and working with the team here. My background is in valuation, but my new role will be to liaise with an independent valuation panel and the underwriters in-house to ensure that our offers are fair and substantiated. It is exciting to be part of a growing force in the marketplace.”
Murray continued: “Valuation is at the crux of our decision to lend and our underwriting team are absolutely key in the completion process. Their role is to ensure that each of our cases is considered on an individual and personal basis, which means that applicants who might otherwise be turned down by other lenders, will be given the best chance possible. Expanding our team means that we can continue to meet our targets while still providing the same level of service.”
