The Lambeth Building Society is already tied to Legal & General for life protection and investment products and is a member of the company’s Mortgage Club. This new agreement for household and accident, sickness and unemployment cover is expected to generate significant inflows of premiums for Legal & General.
Speaking about the announcement, Legal & General Insurance Managing Director Ian Viney said, “We are delighted to have extended our partnership with the Lambeth Building Society. We have worked together for a number of years and, given our shared objectives of delivering value for money products and a high quality of customer service, this is a good strategic fit which I am confident will be mutually beneficial to both organisations”.
Chris Radford, Chief Executive of the Lambeth Building Society said, “This is an important decision as it strengthens our relationship with one of the UK’s leading insurers and further demonstrates our commitment to offering quality products and services to our members”.
