Furthermore, for clients who need help with fees, the Society has launched a fee free two-year fixed rate at 5.75 per cent.
Jeff Kirk, corporate relationship manager at Leeds BS, said: "In a recent poll of 54 economists carried out by Reuters, 40 of the 54 said that the MPC would probably increase base rate to 5 per cent in November.
"Many clients may look to guarantee their monthly payments and protect themselves against any rise. This two-year deal also allows unlimited capital repayments at any time, combining flexibility with peace of mind.
"We have created this product with a fee free option to ensure that clients with less funds available for fees can still benefit from all the advantages provided by fixing payments."
