Legal & General and National Guarantee Plc announce new partnership

The partnership means that Legal & General’s pure protection and general insurance products will be available to National Guarantee’s 40 advisers when arranging mortgages and remortgages for their customers.

A launch ceremony took place at 11.00am on Wednesday 7 May at National Guarantee’s offices in Birmingham, to commemorate the deal and provide an opportunity for staff of both companies to meet each other and mark the launch date. This was followed by a reception at One Victoria Square, which are the new offices that National Guarantee will relocate to in July 2003.

Speaking at the launch, Keith Robinson, Chief Executive of National Guarantee said, “This is a real turning point for the company. Legal & General’s existing e-trading solutions with other systems, we can be the gateway to meeting all of our client’s financial services needs around these transactions, saving ourselves time and money by allowing a single entry of data with pre-population of items throughout”.
