It makes key additions and increases headcount from 18 to 32 members
Legal & General Mortgage Services has expanded its distribution team, increasing its headcount by 77% from 18 to 32 members.
The team, now led by Clare Beardmore (pictured), director of distribution and mortgage club, will also get a boost with the appointment of Greg Cunnington as the new co-head of strategic accounts.
Cunnington, formerly the chief operating officer at LDN Finance and director of lender relationships and new homes at Alexander Hall, will work alongside Paula Matthews, who will build upon her previous experience as strategic relationship director at Legal & General Surveying Services. Together, they will lead the strategic accounts team, focusing on the sales and distribution strategy for a select group of lenders.
“We are delighted to welcome Greg to Legal & General Mortgage Services,” Beardmore said. “His wide-ranging skillset and proven track record will undoubtedly contribute to our ongoing success.
“As Legal & General Mortgage Services continues to level up its support for brokers and lenders, our newly expanded team will help us continue to deliver an industry-leading experience for our partners. We look forward to achieving new milestones for our valued partners and clients.”
Commenting on his appointment, Cunnington said he was thrilled to be joining the Legal & General Mortgage Services distribution team and to contribute to the organisation.
“I look forward to hitting the ground running, and collaborating with my new colleagues, leveraging our collective expertise to drive impactful results that not only meet but exceed expectations,” he added.
Meanwhile, the team expansion also puts Alison Williams to the role of head of professional relationships. She was previously the head of governance at Legal & General Surveying Services.
Further enhancing broker support, the team also added Zara Bray as head of strategic accounts, Louise Turton as head of business development, Michelle Westley as head of propositions, and Victoria Williams as mortgage club lead. All will report directly to Clare Beardmore.
