Iain has worked in the mortgage unit for the past six years and moves into his new role having been manager, sales and distribution with Lloyds TSB Scotland for the past two years.
He joined the TSB in 1983 and has worked in various branches and in a variety of roles, moving to join the mortgage team in 2001.
Malloch said: “Our balances have grown by 279 per cent in the last five years, and I look forward to maintaining this level of success and growth. I have a great team to work with here at the Scottish Mortgage Unit and I am confident our successes will continue to grow.”
The Lloyds TSB Scotland Scottish Mortgage Unit deals with both direct and introduced business. The balance of the mortgage book stands at over £5.3bn with over 70,000 mortgage accounts. The unit operates its own processing centre at two sites in Edinburgh.
