Digital mortgage lender Molo Finance has announced the appointment of Matthew Kimber (pictured left) as its chief executive officer.
Kimber, who joined the company in November 2023 as chief operating officer, has over two decades of experience in banking and finance.
His career highlights include holding the managing director position at CHL Mortgages for Intermediaries, where he led the company’s return to lending in 2021. He also became chief operating officer at both CHL Mortgages and Landmark Mortgages, and led the lending function at Castle Trust.
Kimber’s appointment follows a comprehensive selection process by Molo’s board and advisors, which recognised his contributions to various financial institutions and his understanding of the UK origination market.

Commenting on his appointment, Kimber expressed enthusiasm about leading Molo during a transformative period for the mortgage industry.
