Reports say it will be sold for between £50m and £100m.
Mortgage Brain is working with advisers from Deloitte on a potential sale, The Sunday Times reported at the weekend.
The software developer based in Bromsgrove which is co-owned by Britain’s six biggest mortgage lenders is set to fetch between £50m and £100m.
Post tax profits at the company were £2.3m on revenues of £7.2m in the year to March 2016 according to its most recent accounts.
