Launched by The Online Marketing Department, self-registration enables advisers to instantly access the site, known as the Store, at www.theonlinemarketingdepartment.co.uk and personalise pre-written, pre-designed literature templates with their own logo and contact details. Advisers can tailor the materials to their own needs, choosing different fonts, colours and images.
The Online Marketing Department’s Donna Eley explains: “The Store enables advisers in small and large firms, and advisers spread across different branches nationwide, to produce high-quality materials in very low volumes, at low unit cost and so target small groups of clients or potential clients with messages that address their specific needs. There is no longer any need to produce generic materials which appeal to ‘everyone and no-one’.
“Our print on demand service also means that there’s no need to store and throw away huge amounts of literature. Why print 1,000 when you only need 50?”
Whilst a 2-3 working day from order to delivery is quoted, the quickest so far reported is a little over 30 hours.
Registration is free and the materials currently available include posters, flyers, brochures, letterheads and business cards. The facility to create your own logo plus resizable adverts and newsletters are due to be available in the next few weeks. On the website advisers can, without registering, access useful marketing tips and ideas.
