The donation to Crisis, the national charity for single homeless people, will help the organisation to keep open its Christmas Centre in Newcastle during the festive period. The Christmas Centres provide a wide range of essential services for homeless people with the London centres alone taking in approximately 2500 guests.
David Salusbury, chairman, NLA, said: “The National Landlords Association is proud to support Crisis, the national charity for single homeless people. The festive period can be a lonely and difficult time for homeless people and Crisis does an incredibly important job in alleviating some of the loneliness and, importantly, ensuring they are kept warm during the cold winter days and nights.”
The Crisis Christmas Centre in Newcastle will be open from Christmas Eve to Boxing Day.
