The CeMAP version has been designed with corporate training in mind and many organizations signed up last year, before the tool was launched, including Glasgow-based Mortgages plc.
Pamela Clements, training manager at Mortgages Plc, said:
"We currently have a number of staff studying for the CeMAP qualification, and this qualification has helped their understanding of the current legislation and UK mortgage market.
"CeMAP CMT will be an invaluable tool for revision purposes by giving the staff access to up to date material, at home or in the workplace, additional multiple choice tests to help prepare for the examination and interactive case studies that simulates 'real life' scenarios. Staff will be able to plan their own revision programme using this tool and feel much more confident when sitting the examination"
Although the tool has been designed to assist corporate organizations with their training, discussions have begun to develop a similar tool that would be appropriate for individual users.
