This is why GMAC-RFC won for the second year Best Sunday Times Top 100 again this year, making a magnificent leap from the previous years position of 68 to this years 32nd.

We put our success down to our on-going strategy which is to continually ask our customers, what their needs are and for us to meet them.
During 2006 GMAC-RFC enhanced its service proposition by becoming the first lender in the world to offer immediate on-line mortgage offers, meaning the clients could produce a legally binding mortgage offer for their customers within a matter of minutes from their own office. This has led to a massive reduction of unnecessary paperwork and phone calls resulting in more time for packagers and brokers to build up better relationships with their clients.
For those that have experienced such benefits, there is simply no going back to the traditional paper methods and they are keen to tell others.
As a result of the true success, GMAC-RFC increased its mortgage completion levels to £12.1bn in 2006 which was an incredible 75% uplift on the previous year. We believe this to be the largest growth by any lender in the UK. This is a true testament to listening to our customers needs and offering an innovative solution that had taken the mortgage industry forward to the next level.
The award is an accolade to our continued strong service position and understanding that service is crucial. Having the right people to support in the customer service centre, the trusted local sales people, competitive products and criteria and pioneering technology which leads the mortgage market.
