Previously national sales director at Park Row, Paterson, will take up his role at the beginning of July.
Michael Clapper, CEO of Enterprise, said: "We’re delighted to welcome Kevin on board and are very proud to be able to attract such a well known and high quality individual. Enterprise has several imminent and very exciting developments, all of which will need effective marketing and communication, and I am in no doubt that Kevin is the best man for the job."
In recent months, Enterprise has made several appointments, with Terry Young joining from Network Data, Gordon Steyn joining from Thinc and most recently, Sir Peter Burt, the former governor and chief of Bank of Scotland, joining as non-executive chairman, after his firm, Promethean Investments, acquired a 30 per cent minority stake in the Group for £8.5 million. The next version of Enterprise’s EDGE system is expected to launch at the end of June, which will be fully integrated for on-line submissions to at least five lenders at launch.
Paterson said: "I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Park Row and made many friends. I helped steer the company to the great success it has had and continues to enjoy, but I now feel the time is right to move on to something new. I have been following the growth and developments at Enterprise for some time and have been continually impressed with its foresight and vision. Like many others, I also believe that Enterprise now has an incredible opportunity, to become the dominant player in UK mortgage distribution. The new version of EDGE will help to shape the future of safe, specialist lending transactions and I am looking forward to helping ensure that Enterprise’s growth is accelerated to the next level, and far beyond."
