He said: “There will be a high turnover of staff at banks. Advisers will leave and become brokers.
“There will only be a saturation point on brokers.”
Sheppard gained an understanding of the market when working at Halifax for nine years and says he will be looking to tap into that pool of talent himself.
He added: “I know the tenacity they put into training at the banks.
“If I can take some staff from them I will!”
