However he will remain to handover to Max Wright, who will take the reins as chief executive for the foreseeable future whilst a permanent replacement is recruited.

Wright who is currently a non-executive director on the Personal Touch Board said, “Doug has done a great job in building a solid infrastructure for the business to face the challenges the changing financial service sector is bringing.
“On behalf of the Board I would like to thank him for his hard work and leadership and our best wishes as he moves to take up his next challenge.
“We have started the search process for a replacement and in the meantime it is business as usual through a highly motivated and capable management team.”
