The ‘Caribbean cricket challenge’ in aid of The Nightingale Community Hospice between a team of Select clients and North London Chamber of Commerce businesses will be played at the Enfield Cricket Club on July 10. All donations and sponsorship raised will go to The Nightingale Community Hospice Trust Ltd., a charity that helps and supports those suffering with cancer and their carers, living or working in Enfield.
A number of local and other businesses have already offered their services at no charge including Outback, an Enfield steak house, who will be providing a barbeque, and Screen Pages, an internet solutions company, who have offered a half day mini cooper racing at a well know racing circuit as a raffle prize. Several large organisations including Scandia, Friends Provident, Zifa and Newton have also expressed an interest in the event.
Demitrius Nurse, MD of Select, said “Our business is not just about the bottom line. A key part of the Select business mission is to give something back to the local community and also to be a leading light for other similar businesses. We are also members of the local Chamber of Commerce and are delighted to be teaming up with them to raise money for a very worth while cause.”
