Shepherd’s selected Quest’s Home Report system to fully automate their orders and in doing so has removed the need to develop its own in-house software, enabling their company to make significant financial savings in this area.
The cost of ordering an electronic Home Report via Quest is £10 + VAT. Included in this cost is the use of an online debit / credit card and deferred payment system and bespoke branding of the completed Home Report. A professional printing service is also available for those wishing to deliver a paper copy.
Ian Fergusson, Managing Partner, Shepherd Chartered Surveyors said: “Having worked with Quest for many years to manage our survey IT requirements, we felt Quest was the ideal choice for managing our Home Report needs. There are several reasons for this; firstly is the integration of all our systems would enable us to centralise our invoicing and administration; secondly, the system is simple to use and allows us to quickly order Home Reports for a small fee per case; and finally by opting for Quest we have eliminated the need to design our own system in-house. This is a substantial benefit as I am aware of other firms that have spent in excess of £500,000 undertaking this task in-house.”
Tom Parker, managing director of Quest said: “We are pleased to have been selected by Shepherds as their IT platform provider of choice. We strive to provide an efficient and effective Home Report and Energy Performance Certificate delivery platform at limited expenditure for our clients. There are no upfront, out of pocket costs for clients to incur, meaning working with us doesn’t require any capital expenditure – they simply pay per transaction, which is only £10 per case.”
Shepherd Chartered Surveyors also work with Quest’s solutions to manage its energy assessment needs for both residential and commercial properties.
