From today, mortgage brokers registered with Woolwich can sign up at www.woolwichfootball.co.uk and select their team for the upcoming season. Throughout the season, fantasy teams will earn points awarded for the performance of players in the Barclays Premier League. The team with the highest points total at the end of the season will be crowned overall champion and win a VIP trip to see a Barclays Premier League team of choice as won last year by Ron Radway of OneCall Financial Advice Centre.
This is the third season that Woolwich has run the intermediary fantasy football competition, which last year was entered by 3000 brokers. Regular features returning include network sub-leagues, private leagues and manager of the month awards, along with new competitions offering the chance to win prizes throughout the season such as match tickets for any team, stadium tours, entertainment packages and a VIP package to watch Liverpool face Chelsea at Anfield next May.
