Solent has established the connection as it is keen to concentrate on its core branded proposition. The link-up is in recognition of the importance of ensuring its brokers have access to ‘best of breed’ advice in a number of areas.
Ian Balfour, sales and marketing director at Solent Mortgage Services, said: “The market is still young and as many brokers have yet to qualify in this area, we felt that the most logical move was to partner a specialist company which could deal with the referrals from our brokers in the knowledge that their clients would receive the best service.”
Stuart Wilson, spokesman for The Equity Release Advisory Service, commented: “This is an exciting opportunity for us to work with Solent and its brokers, to provide an easy-to-use referral service for lifetime mortgages for those not qualified to deal in this market. We have been impressed by the focus it has on providing top-quality services to its brokers.”
Dean Mirfin, business director at Key Retirement Solutions, said: “This shows more and more professional organisations are opting to chose working partnerships in order to offer a wider range of services for clients rather than having to turn them away. We have introducer agreements with over 100 IFAs and brokers and expect this to grow further which proves that such link-ups are proving effective.”
